Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.
Idrissa Gueye was also subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain in January and has made over 100 appearances for Everton since a 2016 switch from Aston Villa.
The report has claimed that Manchester United want Gueye as a replacement for Ander Herrera, who will see his contract expire this summer.
The Red Devil’s refusal to meet Herrera’s wage demands – believed to be the best part of £200,000-a-week – has convinced the Spaniard to walk away after five years at the club.
The Spaniard is widely expected to join Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the campaign, while Juan Mata will also see his deal end and could move on.
United could sign as many as five new players when the transfer window opens, including a right back, centre back, two midfielders and a right winger.
