Bournemouth are understood to be keen on signing Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland, but manager Eddie Howe insists he has not finalised his transfer plans for the summer.
The Daily Mail says Bournemouth are ready to use Asmir Begovic as a makeweight in their bid for Butland.
England keeper Butland has edged ahead in Eddie Howe’s thinking as the Cherries manager looks to bring in a new goalkeeper this summer.
Eddie Howe: “We haven’t formulated any plans regarding transfer targets or anyone towards next year, we’re firmly looking at this season. I’ll have conversations with the owner and respective people at the club towards the close of the season where we’ll formulate our plans.
“As I said, without formulating our plans it’s ridiculous to think we’re considering any positions. It’s not the time for that at the moment, it’s time to concentrate on our next game.”
