Twitter Drags Mourinho After Man United Victory Over Tottenham

Following Manchester United impressive victory over Tottenham on Sunday, fans of the Old Trafford outfit have taken to social media, especially Twitter, to hail their interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and also take a swipe at the sacked Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.

De Gea Takes Centre Stage As Manchester United Beat Tottenham

The two sides went toe-to-toe in an open game but while both teams had multiple chances, United goalkeeper David de Gea proved the difference, making a string of phenomenal saves.

United proved that their recovery under Solskjaer is no flash in the pan, with Marcus Rashford pouncing to seal a 1-0 win in a thrilling contest against Spurs.

Before the match, a host of opposition fans and pundits among others were of the opinion that this would be too big a test for Manchester United. After all, Spurs are no Cardiff, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Newcastle or Reading.

However, United put Tottenham to the sword at Wembley, as Rashford’s sublime low strike – after the most delicate of passes from Paul Pogba – gave them all three points.

Due to the fact that Mourinho was unable to beat Tottenham in the first meeting at Old Trafford, fans of the club have gone to social media to aim digs at their sacked manager.
