Arsenal boss Unai Emery has ruled out the possibility of signing a player permanently this month.
The Gunners strengthened their squad quite considerably in the winter last year, acquiring Aubameyang And Mkhitaryan.
Emery also went on to sign the likes of Leno, Sokratis, Torreira and Guendouzi in the summer, as he changed the squad.
Arsenal have made moves in the market this winter, with the club linked with Denis Suarez and Ever Banega, however, Emery has ruled out a permanent deal.
“We cannot make payments to sign players,” Emery told reporters. “We can only loan players.
“I don’t know about his [Suarez] situation. But we can only sign players on loan.
“I know the club is working to find players who can help us, with this condition. I know these players and they are very good players. But I cannot sign more.”
