Davido Maintains Stance On Slapping Kizz Daniel’s Manager
After hinting and insinuating that he did not slap Tumi Lawrence, the manager of Kizz Daniel, award-winning singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has come out to maintain his stance that he did not assault Lawrence.
On December 27, it was gathered that the DMW Boss slapped Kizz Daniel’s manager and also spilled drink over him at the backstage during his “City Of Davido” concert, which took place at Eko Atlantic, Lagos.
An eyewitness had claimed that the singer had just finished performing and was heading towards the changing room when Tumi sought his attention.
However, Tumi’s request was rejected, and while leaving, Davido allegedly called him back and slapped him.
It was also learnt that the incident led Kizz Daniel to walk out of the show, leaving Davido to perform their hit song “One Ticket” alone.
To further strengthen the allegations, Lawrence took to his Twitter page to vent his anger at Davido – in what appeared to have confirmed that he was assaulted by the ‘Fall’ singer and his crew members during his concert.
Reacting to this, Kizz Daniel – formerly called Kiss Daniel – apologised to his manager by writing: “My brothers first… I am so sorry big bro” and then unfollowed Davido on Instagram.
However, Davido has maintained that he didnt assault Lawrence.
Reacting to a fan’s question regarding the incident, Davido said Daniel “himself” is aware that the accusation is untrue.
“He knows himself I didn’t …. it’s all love always ! It hurt me how they switched up on me after all I did .. it’s cool tho life goes on.”
