On Thursday morning, President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated a new interational terminal at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The newly constructed terminal is a project spearheaded by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN. The terminal sits on 56000 square meters with a 60 metre long skywalk that connects the airport to the metro station which was commissioned earlier in the year.
During his speech, Presidet Buhari said, “With the commissioning of this Terminal, Nigeria is moving towards achieving and meeting global aviation standards in facilitation, passenger processing and service delivery in tandem with international best practices.”
