Official Statement From Terragon On Offensive Tweet On Client’s Twitter Handle
Terragon Limited, the digital agency that manages Guinness Nigeria’s Twitter account, has issued a statement in apology with respect to an offensive tweet earlier sent “in error” from the Guinness Nigeria Twitter handle to Johannes Tobi W., a lawyer (@Johannxs).
The tweet, which is a reply to an earlier post made by Johannes, a member of President Muhammadu Buhari’s media team, was sent during the BON-hosted debate among the running mates to presidential candidates of five political parties.
Terragon stated clearly in the statement issued on Saturday morning that the tweet has absolutely nothing to do with Guinness Nigeria and was not sent or authorized by the Company.
