Kylian Mbappe has just won the best U21 player for the year 2018 after becoming the first winner of the Kopa trophy.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough year, in which he scored one of his country’s four goals in the Russia 2018 World Cup final at Luzhniki Stadium on July 15 in a 4-2 win over Croatia.
Mbappe has continued his impressive form this season as well, registering 14 goals and seven assists in his first 15 games across all competitions.
“I am very happy to receive this award,” Mbappe said. “This rewards a great year, which I realise is thanks to all my team-mates in club and national team.
My next goal? It is to lift everything (not only the Ballon D’Or). It will be with hard work and I’ll need help from my team-mates”.
Borussia Dortmund and USA youngster Christian Pulisic finished second while Justin Kluivert came in third
