Outrage On Twitter As Buhari Fails To Provide WAEC Certificate To INEC

Some very notable Nigerians on social media have begun to express their displeasure after President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has again, failed to provide his academic credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as one of the requirements to qualify to contest elective positions in the country.

2019: Buhari Fails To Submit Academic Credentials To INEC

360nobs earlier reported that President Buhari, who is seeking a re-election in office, had told INEC that all his academic credentials, including his West African Examination Council, WAEC, are with the military.

He attached an affidavit to support his claim.

“I am the above named person and the deponent of this affidavit herein. All my academic qualification documents as filled in my Presidential form, APC/001/2015 are currently with the Secretary of the Military Board as of the time of this affidavit,” the affidavit reads.

This is just as INEC has published 79 political parties who will be fielding candidates for the 2019 election.

Bear in mind that In 2014, the president had also tendered the same submission in the build up of the 2015 elections.

But the military had denied being in possession of the academic credentials.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have begun to throw flakes at the president.
