Sergio Ramos believes that “fantastic striker” Harry Kane is suited to Spanish football.
Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos and Harry Kane will come face-to-face on Monday night when Spain host England in the UEFA Nations League.
When questioned on whether any England players would be suited to operating in La Liga, Ramos picked out the Spurs captain due to his ‘physical and technical ability’.
“Harry Kane is physically a fantastic striker but also technically. He can surprise you – but not me as we have prepared for him,” Ramos told reporters.
“There are always very technical players in the England team that are dangerous but I can assure you we have been watching them.
“We know the level of difficulty will be very high. We know we have a fantastic national team in front of us, and even though we played a great game at Wembley there are things we can improve.”
Harry Kane has scored 146 goals in 223 appearances for Tottenham since breaking into the first team.
