Buratai Orders Arrest Of Arms Bearers In Plateau, Calls Boko Haram BASTARDS

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt.-Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, has ordered officers and men of the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) Sector 9 in Riyom Local Council of Plateau State to arrest anyone in possession of arms.

While speaking with the soldiers during a special defence security exercise at Sector 6 Unit, the COAS also cautioned the troops against downplaying security issues in the state.

Nigerian Guardian reports that the military chief also directed that the blockade of highways by miscreants should not be tolerated, urging the soldiers to employ their professional skills in fishing out criminal elements within the communities.
