‘Plenty Vulgar On The Way’ — Falz Reacts To NBC Ban On “This Is Nigeria”

Popular Nigerian musician, Folarin Falana, better known by the stage name Falz, has reacted to the ban placed on his song, ‘This is Nigeria’, by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

NBC Fines Radio Station For Airing Falz’ “This Is Nigeria,” Olamide, Wande Coal’s Songs

The NBC on Thursday fined a radio station in Jos about N100, 000, for playing Falz’ ‘This is Nigeria’ song, saying that the song was “laced with vulgar lyrics” and as such shouldn’t be played on air.

Also, the commission fined the station for playing Olamide’s song titled “See Mary, See Jesus” and Wande Coal’s Iskaba with the lyrics, “Girl you dey make me kolo, shaking the ass like kolo”,  which it described as vulgar.

But in his reaction to the development via his Instagram handle, Falz said the entire situation was hilarious.

The singer also took to Twitter to tell the regulatory body to expect more songs that are deemed vulgar in reply to a comment.

In reaction, Falz said the regulatory body should expect more songs that are deemed vulgar.  “I swear, plenty vulgar on the way,” the artiste said.“I swear, plenty vulgar on the way,” the artiste said.
