Paul Pogba Questions His Attitude After Manchester United’s Loss To Brighton

Paul Pogba has admitted that his attitude “wasn’t right enough” during his Manchester United’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Manchester United lost their first match of the new season at the Amex Stadium, with Pogba’s late penalty proving to be only a consolation goal for the visitors.

Paul Pogba acknowledged that an element of complacency was allowed to sink in for his side, and was particularly critical of his own performance after a week which has seen his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho come under the microscope once again.

“We lost and the attitude that we had today was that we deserved to win,” Pogba told Sky Sports News.

“I put myself first. My attitude wasn’t right enough. We’ll keep trying and keep pushing and obviously it’s a lesson for us. The attitude that we had was not like we wanted to beat them. They had more anger than us and that showed on the pitch.

“We made mistakes we shouldn’t make. The attitude has to be right and we missed that today.”
