Snack On Nuts
Nuts are good foods if you are keen on cutting down on your stress levels. They are packed with magnesium, which has been known to help keep cortisol levels low. Nuts are high in calories, so if you’re watching your weight, you may want to ensure that you do not eat more than 12 in a day.

Eat broccoli And Fresh Vegetables
Broccoli is rich in folic acid, along with some other fresh vegetables. More so, a lot of veggies are packed with nutrients and vitamins that have been known to aid stress reduction.

Enjoy sorbet with a vanilla sugar wafer
Sugary foods help to reduce the amount of hormones responsible for raising your anxiety. They do this by specifically reducing the production of glucocorticoid, a stress hormone linked to storing more fat in the belly.

Just a little sugar on the tongue is enough to produce a feel-good effect. As such, you may want to watch the quantity you consume.

Whole grain English muffin with Jam or Honey
Complex carbohydrate-rich foods such as whole grains, jam and honey help to raise the levels of serotonin, boosting your mood and helping you relax.

Eat Salmon Fish
Salmon contain high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids which helps brain cells to function more collaboratively and in synchrony. This can help you to deal with stress more effectively.

Eat Some Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate is by far the most potent endorphin-producing food on earth. Chocolate contains more than 300 different compounds, including anandamide, a chemical that mimics marijuana’s effects on the brain, and theobromine, a mild stimulant.

A number of these chemicals help to reduce stress, so you may want to look for imported dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 70% or more.
