Chelsea have reportedly given Gary Cahill permission to speak to Galatasaray regarding a possible transfer this summer.
Gary Cahill has been left out of both of Chelsea’s matchday squads so far and is understood to be deemed surplus to requirements by manager Maurizio Sarri,
Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz appear to be Sarri’s preferred centre-back partnership as things stand, while Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta and Ethan Ampadu provide further options in the middle.
Turkish outlet Fotomac claims that Chelsea could look to cash in on Cahill during the final week of the European transfer window.
Galatasaray are reported to be leading the race for the England International as they look for an alternative to original target Jason Denayer, who decided to Lyon from Manchester City
