Alexis Sanchez has deleted a couple of posts from his personal Twitter page following an angry reaction from Manchester United fanbase.
Alexis Sanchez uploaded a video and series of pictures on Monday afternoon as part of a publicity drive for his first fashion collection.
The tweets were posted less than 24 hours on from United’s shock 3-2 loss at Brighton leaving many supporters to question the timing.
Both posts were deleted after around 30 minutes on the site following a backlash from United fans, while also being removed from other social media feeds.
One fan wrote: “Focus on football fella. You were a demon one time now you’re a shell of your former self. It’s tough seeing you like this.”
Another replied: “Everything that’s wrong with the modern players right there, your team just lost yesterday you know.”
Mourinho revealed the former Arsenal striker could be out for between one and two weeks, putting him at risk of missing Manchester United’s clash against Tottenham next Monday.
“Alexis was going to play but he had a little problem, so we had to decide to give an opportunity to another attacking player,” Mourinho said after the game.
