48 Senators Sign Agreement To Stop Saraki, Ekweremadu’s Removal [Full List]
No less than forty-eight senators have signed an agreement to prevent any impeachment process against Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.
The agreement is coming on the back of a siege at the National Assembly on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the National Assembly has called off its meeting scheduled to hold at noon on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
The deputy speaker of the house of representatives, Yusuf Lasun, disclosed this while speaking to journalists at the entrance of the National Assembly Complex in Abuja.
Senate President Bukola Saraki had called the meeting after several calls on the lawmakers to cut short their recess and reconvene.
However, the deputy speaker said the meeting was called off on Monday morning following the blockade mounted at the entrance of the complex by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
