Noble Takes The BUJ: Haircut With A Happy Ending
It’s 9:45pm and Brazil is out of the world cup but that’s not the real story here, like Keke Palmer says the gag is I got a Prime fade in Abuja and loved it.
I got into Abuja on Thursday Afternoon and because I was busy in Lagos, I didn’t get the chance for a haircut before flying out but an email requesting a head shot got me searching for a hair salon. You know Man’s gotta look hot.
At first, I wasn’t sure if I could trust any Abuja barber but when a friend suggested that I try the folks at Prime Touch, I accepted with batted breath. After all, if the beard is not out of shame, one can always go skin.
I felt like a proper “small boy with big a God” arriving an event and people legit stopped to watch me come down from my uber, *flips invisible weave*.
On entering the store, I asked to see the best fade barber and I was directed to Austin the owner who then asked Abdul to attend to me. I took off my jacket, sat down on the chair and allowed Abdul to do his thing and at the end of it all, I was really impressed with the result.
A pair of shoes off and one pair of pants folded later, Yvonne took care of my toe and finger nails.
If you ever visit or live in Abuja; I recommend De Prime Touch Barber Shop located at #5 Yedseram Street, Maitama, Abuja and they are good at the following; Barbing, Pedicure/Manicure, Facial scrub, Spa/Massage, Barbing /Hair treatment accessories.
