French President Emmanuel Macron, who has been in Lagos, Nigeria since the beginning of this week, has tried his hand at speaking Pidgin English in a video that was put online and he did it very well.
In the less than 11 seconds footage, which was recorded by BBC, the French leader said: “My name na Emmanuel Macron. Na me be di President of France and I dey kampe for Lagos today.”
The video has since gone viral on the internet.

The development comes after an 11-year-old Nigerian boy, Kareem Olamilekan, drew a portrait of him during his visit to the New Afrikan Shrine in Lagos in just 2 hours.
