FRSC Reacts To Rumour That It Has ‘Shortlisted Candidates’ In Ongoing Recruitment
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has described as false and misleading a report that some applicants have been shortlisted in its ongoing recruitment.
Daily Post quoted the Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, as saying this in a statement issued on Thursday, July 19, 2018.
He said, “The attention of the FRSC has been drawn to a false and misleading publication ‘FRSC Recruitment 2018 Shortlisted candidates in All States is out-Check your. Name here.
“The public should be informed that this is totally false and fabricated by some misleading miscreants.
“Hence the Corps would like to disclaim and refute the said publication on the above website and any other such publications circulating in other media”.
FRSC recently announced that it will recruit additional 4,650 officers and procure new logistics vehicles to improve road safety management in the country.
“In the next few months we should be able to procure all these items and we are also injecting additional personnel of about 4,650 to the system.
“This is unprecedented in the history of the corps and we appreciate this from the president,” Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, had said on July 8.
