Chelsea have offered youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi a new five-year contract to convince him to remain at the club
Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was a key performer in England Under-17s World Cup win last year, is one of the most coveted teenagers in football at the moment
Hudson-Odo,17, set up Chelsea’s winning goal against Perth Glory
He made his professional debut for the Blues against Newcastle in the FA Cup in January.
He has just two years left on his current deal and top clubs around Europe are monitoring the situation.
Former Chelsea Youth team coach Jody Morris is convinced he has what it takes to be a success in the Premier League.
“He will get a lot of plaudits because he has shown in glimpses that he has got real, real quality,” Morris told Goal in May. “He showed in other glimpses that he needs to mature and he needs to follow instructions.
“He has got a lot to learn, and so have a lot of players on the pitch, but he has certainly got a chance if he keeps his feet on the ground and matures properly. There’s a young kid there that has got a fantastic amount of talent.”
