Real Madrid have fended off competition from Liverpool to land Ukraine goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, reports Marca.
The European champions will pay Zorya Luhansk €8.5m and add-ons for the 19-year-old.
Madrid have tracked the teenager for a while and accelerated their interest to secure his services ahead of Liverpool, Roma and Real Sociedad, who were all keen on the ‘keeper.
Andriy Lunin will join the team for pre-season and Julen Lopetegui will then decide where he fits into the pecking order at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Lunin has European experience after featuring in the Europa League group stages and starred against Athletic Bilbao in a shock 1-0 win in Spain.
Los Blancos have already announced Rodrygo Goes will arrive in July 2019 from Santos and join their reserve side.
