Nigerian Gospel singer, St. Chika Set New World Record

Nigerian gospel singer Chika Nwaogu, who goes by the moniker St. Chika, has set a new record in the Guinness World Record for the Longest Officially Released Song with his new single titled “Power In The Name Of The Lord” – which features 64 verses.

The former record in that category stands at 3 hours, 26 minutes, 22 seconds long by Dominican Republic rapper Henry G.

St. Chika began recording the song on Sunday, May 20 and finished on Thursday, May 24, 2018. His song lasted 4 hours, 2 minutes and 4 seconds.

As long as the University of Lagos physics graduate adhered to the rules of competing for a Guinness World Record, he certainly may be en route snatching the title from Henry G.

St. Chika lists his inspiration as fellow gospel acts like Travis Greene, Nathaniel Bassey, Eben, Joe Praize and Sinach.
