Popular singer, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, has announced the signing of a licensing deal with international platform, Columbia Records UK.
The singer took to his Instagram page to make the announcement on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
He wrote: “Another major move. Thank you God for keeping things running smoothly.
He added: “Yesterday in my New Vehicle! As CEO of my Label #BankuMusic i signed a licensing deal with @ColumbiaUK as part of our structural release for the coming music! Everything is almost in place & new single from my upcoming project #LagosToLondon drops 23rd May Jah willing! Thanks for your support!! Together (my fans, my Team & i) will make History #happyBoy”
The licensing deal gives Columbia the right to promote and sell songs by the ‘Pour Me Water’ singer across the UK.
Mr Eazi’s new licensing deal is similar to the one he recently signed with Universal Music Group Africa.
The Nigerian singer also has a distribution deal with Mad Decent, a record label owned by Diplo, an American producer/disc jockey.
The ‘Banku’ music progenitor, who has enjoyed a successful career since the release of his Accra to Lagos EP, recently revealed that he will be releasing his follow-up project titled ‘Lagos To London’ maybe on May 23, 2018.
