On Saturday 3rd March, Johnnie Walker hosted an exclusive whisky dinner at South Eatery & Social House VI, Lagos, in honor of Richard Mofe-Damijo.
The dinner was the brand’s way of celebrating RMD, whose life of service goes beyond acting to politics and entrepreneurship. Not only has he blessed Nigerian TV screens with his flawless acting, he went on to serve his native Delta State as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism.
The night was typified by elegant pairings of carefully curated delicacies with the deluxe Johnnie Walker variants; Blue, Platinum and Gold Labels. The highlight of the night was when Richard Mofe-Damijo was announced Whisky Connoisseur spurred by his love and knowledge of whisky.
The cream of society turned out in their numbers as Mo Abudu, Ayo Makun, Kate Henshaw, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Don Jazzy, Chris Ubosi and former Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan amongst many more were present to honour RMD. Guests also got an exclusive preview of Whisky Tales; a TV series with Richard Mofe-Damijo as the leading man.
The show will beam the light on some of his personal whisky experiences while educating viewers on whisky.
Richard Mofe-Damijo, remains a man of many passions as he is constantly pushing the boundaries for personal progress deep into his golden years.
