Chelsea are reportedly interested in a summer move for RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.
According to ESPN, Chelsea are lining up the Hungary international as a potential replacement for Thibaut Courtois, who is yet to renew his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte’s side are said to face steep competition for Gulacsi’s signature, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain also linked with the 27-year-old.
The Hungarian has been touted as one Europe’s top goalkeepers, and is reportedly rated at around £25m.
Peter Gulacsi is an attractive proposition for Chelsea because he qualifies as a homegrown player following a five-year spell at Liverpool.
Leipzig, who are currently sixth and two points outside the top four, would be reluctant to lose Gulacsi, but could face a fight to keep their best players if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
