Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has claimed that striker Alvaro Morata will only rediscover his best form in front of goal by ‘working hard’.
Alvaro Morata has seen his opening campaign in English football hampered by injury, with the Spaniard’s last goal in any competition coming on Boxing Day.
However, despite regaining his place in the starting lineup, Morata was been told to improve his work-rate in order to add to his 12 strikes since moving to Chelsea from Real Madrid.
At a press conference, the 48-year-old told reporters: “He has to work. He has to work and recover the best form after the injury to his back.
“He has to work and have patience, and we must have patience. But the only way is to work.”
