Real Madrid are prepared to cash in on Gareth Bale as soon as the summer window opens. Much to his frustration, Bale has started recent matches on the bench and manager Zinedine Zidane seems to reluctant to trust the Welshman while his job at the Santiago Bernabeu is still in the balance.

Bale, a Manchester United transfer target, is competing with Marco Asensio for a place in the starting XI and Florentino Perez, the club’s president, believes the 22-year-old is a future Ballon d’Or winner, which gives Zidane the leeway to bench Bale. (Marca)

Marseille believe they can beat Roma, Napoli and RB Leipzig to the signature of Montpellier defender Nordi Mukiele. The 20-year-old has caught the eye this season and could be available for around the €10m mark.
