Nigeria’s Oshoala, Salah Shines At 2017 CAF Awards | See Full List Of Winners

Egypt international Mohamed Salah has been named 2017 Caf African Player of the Year award.

Salah takes home the award for the first time ever, as he managed to defeat competition from fellow finalists Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the awards ceremony in Accra on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

In the women category, Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala emerged the winner of CAF Women’s Player of the Year for the third time.

Oshoala has also been in top form for her club even though she has been rendered redundant as far as national team duties are concerned.

Here is the list of winners at the 2017 Confederation of African Football (CAF) awards ceremony in Accra on Thursday:

Player of the Year:

1. Mohamed Salah (Egypt, Liverpool/ENG), 2. Sadio Mane (Senegal, Liverpool/ENG), 3. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon, Borussia Dortmund/GER)

Women’s Player of the Year:

Asisat Oshoala (Nigeria, Dalian Quanjian/CHN)

Youth Player of the Year:

Patson Daka (Zambia, Liefering/AUT)

Coach of the Year:

Hector Cuper (Egypt)

Club of the Year:

Wydad Casablanca (Morocco)

National Team of the Year:

Egypt

Women’s National Team of the Year:

South Africa
