The New TV Shows That Premiered In January 2018 You Should Find Time To Watch

The new year has kicked off fully and since we are about to end the first month of the year, there are a couple of TV shows you should find time to watch. Thankfully, there is plenty of TV to watch these days and we listed all of the notable new and returning shows coming to your TV in the next couple months, and let you know whether or not you should watch them.

Here are all of the notable shows that premiered in January of 2018, and whether or not you should watch them

“L.A. to Vegas” – FOX

“L.A to Vegas” is a workplace comedy starring Dylan McDermott and it follows the crew of a Friday night flight from Los Angeles to Vegas. With Dylan McDermott starring in an unusual role, it may not be what we all expect. You can however find time to watch what should be gross and edgy in a fun type of way.

“Grown-ish” – Freeform

Zoe from “Black-ish” is now in college and learns that life on her own wasn’t as easy as she though it would be. While “Black-ish” is one of the best shows on network TV right now, especially since Yara Shahidi does more than enough to bring it to life, carrying her own series shouldn’t be much of a problem. charisma brings it to life.

“The X-Files” – FOX

The X-files
Season 11 of the X-Files premiered on the 3rd of January and the 90’s alien procedural is not expected to deviate much from what we know it to be. If you are a lover of sci-fi and horror and you don’t mind the way the 10th season ended, then you should find time to watch it.

“9-1-1” (FOX)

This series premiered in January and it is a procedural drama created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The story follows the lives of Los Angeles first responders including cops, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers. It’s stunning cast which includes Angela Bassett, Connie Britton and Peter Krause, should make it a good show to watch.

“Black Lightning” – The CW

This series premiered on the 16th of January, 2018 and it is sur to get you captivated. The CW’s first African American superhero is retired, but re-emerges as a vigilante for justice. This show will definitely keep you on the edge, especially since more coloured superheroes characters are making their way to television and the cinemas.

“Crashing” – HBO

Season two of this HBO show premiered on the 14th of January. The show is based slightly on real life and it follows the story of Pete, a stand-up comedian trying to figure out his life after separating from his wife, who was cheating on him.

While season one of the show started a little rough, it appeared to find its voice towards the season finale. This makes us believe that season two will like hold a lot of promise.
