Arda Turan’s wages could scupper his hopes of finding a way out of Barcelona in January, according to the player’s agent.
The Turkish midfielder has not featured at all for Barcelona this season and has been tipped to leave the club next month. However, his representative Ahmed Bulut believes the playmaker’s salary could put off a few suitors.
Speaking to TRT Sport, he said: “The coach hasn’t given him any choice, Arda wants to play, but he’s not even had ten minutes [of action this season].
“He’s got two and a half years left on his contract, but what Turan wants is to play. He has a very good contract with Barca and not every team can afford that contract.”
