Reports have emerged that prominent Nigerian singer, Praise Ugbede Adejo, also known as Praiz, has been arrested and brutalised by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The MTN brand ambassador and X3M artiste, according to TheNETng, was on his way to his record label’s end of year party when he was stopped by the police along Lekki-Epe expressway.
The news outlet reports that his mobile phone was smashed when he attempted to record what was happening.
He was reportedly taken to Ajah police station.

A few hours after the report of the singer’s arrest went viral on social media, reports claimed the X3M artiste has been released.
His arrest comes at a time when Nigerians have stormed the social media to protest against the ill-treatment, abuse and harassment by operatives of the Police unit.
