RB Leipzig central defender Marvin Compper has arrived in Scotland ahead of a proposed £1m transfer to Celtic.
The 32-year-old will undergo a medical in Glasgow before completing his move to the Scottish champions, but will not be eligible to play until after the Scottish winter break at the start of January.
Marvin Compper has only played three times for RB Leipzig this season, but made 25 appearances last term as he helped them qualify for the Champions League for the first time.
Compper started his professional career at Borussia Monchengladbach in 2005, making just five top-flight appearances over the season.
After biding his time, injuries to teammates saw him thrust into the first-team in the autumn of 2006, his most productive season at the club with 23 appearances.
