Chelsea goalie, Thibaut Courtois insists Chelsea is not afraid of the possibility of facing a top team in the next round of the UCL.
Roma beat Chelsea to the top position after grinding out a 1-0 win over Qarabag, as Chelsea played a 1-1 draw with Atletico.
Due to regulations, Chelsea cannot face the other English teams in the UCL and Roma, but can only face either Barcelona, PSG or Besiktas. And Courtois maintains that Chelsea is ready.
“There are several English teams that have been finished in first position, so we can only play against Barca, PSG and Besiktas, but if you ask Barca if they want to face against Chelsea, they will say no,” he said.
“We are a good team and we are going to try everything to get far in the Champions League.”
