Chelsea have been rebuffed in a £22million move for Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, according to the Daily Mail.
The Premier League champions see the 20-year-old as a possible replacement for Eden Hazard, the paper says, but Leverkusen will fight to keep the talented youngster.
Chelsea have been monitoring Bailey since he originally moved to Germany and consider him a potential successor to Eden Hazard.
Leon Bailey impressed Chelsea’s scouts last weekend when he starred for his side in a 2-0 win over Stuttgart.
The Jamaican set up both goals as he continued his fine form this season.
Bailey has scored five goals in all competitions this season and has added another four assists in those games.
