With less than 60 days to the end of 2017, there are a number of television shows you probably have missed but which you should find time to watch. It may be difficult for you to determine which television shows are worth your time and which ones to stay away from.

Not to worry, we have helped you come up with a reminder alert of a list of television shows that will be worth your time.

El Chapo

If you’re a fan of Latin American drug loads, you most probably would have watched Narcos. El Chapo however takes things a notch higher with its portrayal of drug load Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán. The television series traces the rise and fall of Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman, the Mexican drug cartel boss and one of the world’s most notorious criminals, who was extradited to the US to face criminal charges in January this year.

The series recounts the beginnings of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán in 1985, when he was a low-level member of the Guadalajara Cartel, his rise to power as head of the Sinaloa Cartel, and his downfall. Season 2 of the show premiered in September and you’d be interested in what this show has to offer.

Frontier

Jason Momoa became a television fan favourite with his portrayal of Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, then Aquaman in Batman vs. Superman. He stars in this bloody historical drama that is based on the violent clashes between European settlers and native tribes to control the lucrative fur trade in North America in the 18th Century.

Season One of frontier is made up of six hour-long episodes and that provides the perfect recipe for binge watching. The second season was released on October 18, 2017 and a third season has already been ordered.

Mindhunter

The mindhunter television series is based on the book ‘Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit’. The show follows two FBI agents interviewing imprisoned serial killers in a bid to solve open cases. The show is produced by David Fincher who has produced masterful psychological thrillers including Zodiac, Fight Club, Gone Girl and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

He was also an executive producer on the Netflix favourite show, House of Cards which stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright and he collaborated with Charlize Theron in the production seat on Mindhunter.

Ozarks

Ozarks sees Jason Bateman tries his hand at a series role in a crime drama. The show is based on the murky world of drug money laundering. Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, a financial planner who relocates his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Ozarks.

With wife Wendy and their two kids in tow, Marty is on the move after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, forcing him to pay off a substantial debt to a Mexican drug lord in order to keep his family safe. Bateman is co-directing the series and Laura Linney plays his wife.

Iron Fist

Iron Fist is the fourth Marvel franchises that will be turned into a Netflix Originals series, right before The Defenders will be coming to Netflix later this year with characters like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and the Punisher.

The television show is based on the 1974 comic about a New York billionaire who also happens to be a martial arts expert that possesses the power of the Iron Fist. Finn Jones stars as Danny Rand / Iron Fist, a martial arts expert with the ability to call upon the power of the Iron Fist. The series was released in March of 2017.

Dark

Dark TV show
Dark is a German-language mystery family saga which focuses on the disappearance of two children in a small town. The television show has a hint of secretive supernatural flavour that is akin to the series Stranger Things but different only I the language it was shot.
