Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto says he wants to stay at the club for the rest of his career.
Sergi Roberto , who came through the ranks at Barca, has been linked with an exit from the Camp Nou over the past year as he has a relatively affordable buyout clause in his contract.
Roberto, who is equally adept at playing in central midfield, currently has a £35million release clause in his contract.
Several reports have suggested the Spaniard is in line for a new deal imminently and the player has intimated he would be happy to spend the rest of his career at the Camp Nou.
“I am very happy,” he told Marca. “I want to be at Barca, at the club of my life. I hope to be linked (tied) here always.”
