Ashley Young has extended his contract at Manchester United by an extra year with the club taking the option on his £130,000-a-week deal following his recent fine form, according to the Daily Mail.
Ashely Young has made the left-back berth his own this season, ahead of Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian.
His contract was due to expire at Old Trafford next summer, but he will now remain at United until summer 2019 at least.
Young, who has made 10 appearances this season, moved to United from Aston Villa for £16million in June 2011.
He was linked with a move from United in January amid domestic and overseas interest but his decision to stay and fight for his place has been vindicated.
