Lionel Messi has signed a new contract at Barcelona until 2021 with £626m buy-out clause.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has responded to speculation over his future by committing the next four seasons to the Catalan club.
Once complete, the new deal, which feature a staggering €700m (£626m) release clause, will mean Lionel Messi will have spent 17 years in the Barcelona first team.
Since joining the club at 13, Messi has helped Barcelona to eight Spanish league titles and won the Champions League four times.
