Kanye West has finally returned to the stage after nearly a year after he famously walked off the stage after just two songs in November 2016 and cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour shortly after.
On Saturday night, Yeezy came out as a surprise guest onstage at former protege Kid Cudi’s concert at the Aragon Ballroom Chicago.

The performance marked the 40-year-old rapper’s first show since he canceled tour dates after a series of onstage rants against the 33-year-old Cudi – and other top artists including Jay Z – and then was hospitalised for more than a week late last year, where he was treated for exhaustion.
Kanye and Kid performed their collaboration “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” from the former rapper’s 2016 Life of Pablo album.
Fans were apparently thrilled yet astonished to see Yeezus appear onstage as the two had feuded last year.

The two then seemed to signal that there was no ill will between them as they hugged at the end of the surprise performance.
Kanye had signed Kid Cudi to his G.O.O.D. music label in 2008 and the rapper left the company in 2013.
Some months before Kanye’s hospitalisation, Cudi had gone on a Twitter rant about Kanye and Drake, claiming they use ghost songwriters.
Kanye subsequently replied him in his concert, saying he felt “disrespected.”
