Inter Milan director of football Piero Ausilio has revealed Manchester United transfer target Ivan Perisic is happy to remain at the club.
Reports linked the Croatian winger with a move to Old Trafford in the summer but the deal never materialised and Ausilio says Perisic is not agitating for a move away.
“We know how important he [Perisic] is”, Ausilio told Premium Sport. “He is happy to stay at Inter, he is a great pro, he takes care of every small detail and I think one can see it. He is a top player to me.”
United have started with one of Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial on the left wing this season and have showed few signs that they regret landing Ivan Perisic.
However, Mourinho is said to have brought up the club’s failure to sign Perisic after United’s 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield in October.
