Kevin De Bruyne will discuss a new Manchester City contract in the coming months to extend his stay at the Etihad Stadium.
Kevin De Bruyne has four years left on his current deal, which is worth around £125,000 a week.
The player’s agent Patrick De Koster told Radio CRC: “We are discussing with City and in the coming months I’ll meet the club to see how to improve and extend his contract.
“De Bruyne has many options because we are discussing the contract with City. But if you see how much Mbappe and Neymar cost you will understand how much he may cost.”
Tuesday’s massive match against Napoli would be the perfect platform to further demonstrate his abilities. De Koster continued: “He can’t expect to win the Ballon d’Or at the moment, he’s still far from footballers like Messi and CR7.
“Everything will depend on how much he can achieve with City, there’s still a big difference now.
“It will be a great game this evening. Napoli are top of the league, but will face a team playing great football in City. It should be a spectacular match.”
