Alberto Moreno has claimed Philippe Coutinho is ready to “give everything” to the Liverpool cause.
Coutinho hasn’t played since a back injury and a virus coincided with a transfer request that was flatly rejected by the club on the eve of the new Premier League season last month.
“I missed him, he’s probably my best friend at the club. I was very happy to have him back,” Moreno told The Daily Mail.
“It was tough for him. He had a bad time but it’s over now and I know that he will give everything for Liverpool
Moreno was pleased to see Liverpool fend off interest from Barca, and thinks the No.10 will give Klopp’s squad a huge injection of quality on his return to the side.
He added: “It would be a dream for any team to have him but he stays with us. Liverpool said no and it meant no.
“It’s just a huge boost. We have a lot of quality here now.”
Coutinho could come back into the side for the visit of Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday.
