Inter Milan are preparing to hand Zinho Vanheusden a new three-year deal at San Siro in order to ward off reported interest from Liverpool, says Corriere dello Sport.
The Belgium centre back, 18, is currently contracted to the Serie A club until the summer of 2019.
Vanheusden is yet to make his Serie A bow for Inter but has been included on the bench for five league games so far this term.
The San Siro side have no intention of selling such a hot prospect and now it has been reported that they are ready to tie him down to a long-term contract.
According to the Corriere Dello Sport, Inter are lining up a new deal which will keep him at the club until 2022 and, all being well, it should be signed in the coming months.
