West Brom are reportedly set to step up their interest in Ahmed Musa.
The Birmingham Mail say Ahmed Musa is likely to be fifth choice at Leicester after the arrival of Kelechi Iheanacho.
That could well be Musa, who joined City for £17m from CSKA Moscow last summer, and according to reports, West Brom are ready to step in for the 24-year-old.
The Baggies, who were also said to be interested in Iheanacho, want to take Musa on a season-long loan.
But they will only move if there is an option to buy in an arrangement similar to the one with Al Ahly and centre-back Ahmed Hegazi.
City boss Craig Shakespeare could be open to offers for Musa and Slimani, who have both been interesting other clubs this pre-season.
