Watford are set to sign Brazil U20 star Richarlison from Fluminense, subject to a medical.
Watford have agreed a fee of £13m with the Brazilian club and the striker has agreed terms on a five-year contract.
Richarlison, who is just 20 years old, is currently in England and will undergo a medical with Watford on Tuesday. His move is also subject to a work permit being secured.
The forward, who can also play off the left or right, scored five goals in 14 appearances for Fluminense last season.
Fluminense said in a statement on Monday that a deal had been agreed, though Watford have yet to confirm.
And club president Pedro Abad later told a news conference: “He will play for Watford in England and not for Fluminense anymore. His departure is official and definitive.”
Richarlison has scored five goals and provided three assists in 14 Serie A games for Fluminense this season, while adding an additional two goals and an assist in Copa Sudamericana play.
