Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of young defender Juan Foyth, the club has confirmed.
Tottenham have been chasing the 19-year-old all summer and have finally worked out a deal, even though PSG entered the race for his signature.
Juan Foyth signed a five-year deal and is the newest face at Tottenham linking up with his compatriot, Pochettino.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Juan Foyth from Estudiantes,” the club, who declined to disclose the fee for the teenager, said in a statement.
“The 19-year-old defender has signed a contract with the Club until 2022.
“Having established himself in Estudiantes’ first team, Juan has represented Argentina at Under-20 level 12 times and was a key member of their 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup and 2017 Under-20 South American Championship squads.”
