Southampton have agreed a deal to sign Mario Lemina from Juventus.

Mario Lemina is expected to undertake a medical on Monday and will cost the club £16million, plus add-ons which could rise to £20m.

Juve manager Allegri confirmed today in his post-match press conference player will leave.

We understand Southampton beat off interest from Stoke to sign the player.

Southampton have been relatively quiet in the transfer market – the £5.7million signing of Polish defender Jan Bednarek from Lech Poznan remains their only purchase of the window so far.

Pellegrino’s side begin their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Swansea on August 12.
