Manchester United have poured cold water on claims they have agreed a deal for Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier.
Several newspapers reported on Wednesday that United were set to pay £27m for the Ivory Coast international’s services despite his ban from entering the UK.
It is also understood that United are not currently pursuing other targets and may have to offload some players before allowing any other arrivals.
Serge Aurierwas found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a Paris nightclub in September last year.
But according to Sky sports, Manchester United do not want to sign Aurier.
