Nigeria Appoints 13 General Managers For FAAN

FAAN: Lagos Airport To Be Certified On July 21

The federal government has approved the promotion of Senior Management Staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

Daily Trust quoted the Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, as saying this on behalf of the Nigerian government.

Following the recently released list of promoted officials, 13 Deputy General Managers were elevated to the rank of General Managers.

A statement by the Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs of FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu said the senior officials were promoted having gone through the promotion process and emerged successful.

The acting general manager further said the newly appointed GMs would be posted immediately.

FAAN is a service organization statutorily charged to manage all Commercial Airports in Nigeria and provide service to both passenger and cargo airlines.
